Mongolian snakegourd Fruit Extract Description: Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim. is the fruit of perennial vines of Cucurbitaceae. It was first recorded in Shennong Herbal Classic. Produced in Liaoning, North China, East China, Central and South China, Shaanxi, Gansu, Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan. Born under forests, shrubs, grasslands and fields near villages at altitudes of 200-1800 meters. They are distributed in North Korea, Japan, Vietnam and Laos. The seeds contain fat oil, the fruits contain triterpenoid saponins, organic acids, resins, saccharides and pigments, and the roots contain proteins, saponins and acids. It can relieve fever and thirst, diuresis, relieve cough and expectorate. It can be compatible with Allium Macrostem, Cassia twig, Fritillaria and Platycodon grandiflorum.
